  1. Prepare 1 1/4 cup of Chopped Spinach.
  2. Prepare 2 tbsp of Butter.
  3. It's 1 1/2 cup of Heavy Cream.
  4. You need 1 tsp of Sea Salt.
  5. Prepare 1/2 tsp of Nutmeg.
  6. Prepare 1 tbsp of Cornstarch.
  7. Prepare 1 tbsp of Water.
  8. Prepare 1 cup of Grated Parmigiano-Reggiano.

Creamed Spinach instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, combine the butter & heavy cream over medium heat. When the butter has melted, stir in the spinach, salt, & nutmeg. Stirring occasionally, bring the mixture to a simmer, & cook for 3 minutes..
  2. In a small bowl, blend the cornstarch & water so the cornstarch dissolves. Add to the spinach mixture, & continue stirring until thickened, for about 2 minutes..
  3. Stir in the cheese. Add some pepper, to taste..
