Ingredients of Creamy chicken and rice

  1. You need 2 lb of chicken breasts.
  2. You need 1 of red bell pepper chopped.
  3. Prepare 1 of chopped onion.
  4. It's 1 of clove of minced. garlic or as much as you want.
  5. Prepare 1/2 lb of thin chopped asparagus.
  6. It's 1 1/2 tbsp of flour.
  7. Prepare 2 tbsp of butter or margarine or oil.
  8. It's 1/2 cup of or more heavy cream or half and half.
  9. Prepare 3/4 cup of white wine.
  10. It's 1 tsp of each seasoned salt, italian seasoning and black pepper.
  11. You need 1 1/2 cup of rice.
  12. It's 1/2 cup of chopped celery.
  13. It's 1/2 cup of chicken broth.

Creamy chicken and rice instructions

  1. Season chicken with seasoned salt and italian seasoning and ground pepper and bake on 375°F til cooked through.
  2. While chicken is cooking turn heat on medium pan and melt butter.
  3. Boil water for rice with tbs of butter, 1 chicken boullion and tsp seadoned salt.
  4. In pan with butter add onion , pepper, and celery and salt and pepprr to taste.
  5. After veggies are bout half way cooked add garlic and cook for a minute or so.
  6. Add wine to pan and turn up heat to reduce most of the way add, flour and stir well so no lumps.
  7. While continuing stiring add milk..
  8. Add chicken broth til its a consistancy you like..
  9. Chop chicken and add to sauce.
  10. Put chicken mixture over rice.
