Creamy White Chicken Chili - Slow Cooker friendly instructions

  1. Cook and shred chicken in your preferred method. I put it in the slow cooker with some basic seasoning and a quart of water for around 5 hours, drain the chicken, and use my electric hand mixer to shred it..
  2. Add the Sour Cream and cream cheese..
  3. Add seasonings in the remaining ingredients and gently stir them together..
  4. Allow to cook/simmer for 1-2 hours or until thoroughly warmed and the onion is soft..
  5. We like it served with sour cream and shredded cheese on top..
  6. Enjoy.

Stir chicken, cilantro and lime juice into the slow cooker; season with salt and pepper Is there something that I could add to make this creamier? It is definitely a soup, not thick like a chili. This creamy and mildly spicy slow cooker chicken chili is our family's staple dinner recipe. It's a true "set it and forget it" crockpot meal. Adaptable- swap out the chicken, beans, etc.
