I made this for our family in minutes and it was a huge hit! These shrimp were beautiful so we bought a case and split them. I had several recipes but the first I wanted to try was an Alfredo sauce I Add the shrimp and liberally sprinkle garlic powder on them.

Ingredients of Garlic Shrimp Alfredo

  1. You need 1 lb of raw shrimp peeled and deveined.
  2. It's 2-3 cloves of garlic finely minced.
  3. You need 2 tbls of butter.
  4. Prepare 1/2-1 cup of Parmigiana cheese freshly grated.
  5. It's 1-1 1/2 cups of heavy cream.
  6. It's to taste of Salt and freshly ground pepper.
  7. It's 1/2 lb of pasta (linguini, shells, spaghetti) cooked al dente.

Garlic Shrimp Alfredo instructions

  1. Melt butter in sauté pan large enough to hold everything and sauté shrimp until pink and starting to firm up add garlic and sauté a minute or two more.
  2. Add drained pasta, toss to combine.

  5. Add 1/2 cup parmigiana cheese and about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of heavy cream toss to combine.

  8. If cream sauce becomes to thin add more cheese if too thick add more cream.
  9. Adjust seasoning and serve.

Pasta, my go to comfort meal. Instead of adding the garlic while cooking the shrimp, add it to the pan with the butter when creating I love zucchini, and I love Alfredo. I wish I would've found this. This garlic shrimp Alfredo recipe is so quick and simple to prepare. You're going to look like a pro, but you're not even going to break a sweat doing it.
