Cream of mushroom soup Cream of mushroom soup has been a favorite of mine as long as I can remember. Of course when we were growing up it was Campbell's and it came in a can. Homemade Cream of Mushroom Soup is full flavoured and so easy to make, you won't buy soup in a can again!

Ingredients of Cream of mushroom soup

  1. You need 2 cup of mushroom sliced.
  2. It's 1/2 of onion sliced.
  3. Prepare 2 tsp of Butter.
  4. Prepare 3 tsp of Fresh cream.
  5. It's pinch of Black pepper.
  6. It's to taste of Salt.
  7. You need 1 tsp of Cornflour.
  8. It's 2-3 cups of vegetables stock.

Cream of mushroom soup step by step

  1. Wipe the mushrooms with a dry cloth...
  2. To make the soup first we have to sliced the mushrooms into thin slices.
  3. Heat a non stick kadhai.
  4. Add 2 tsp butter to it..
  5. Add sliced onions to it..stir it till the colour of the onion look slightly pink.
  6. Add sliced mushrooms salt and black pepper..
  7. Cover it and cook on low flame for 3 to 4 Min..
  8. When the mushrooms become cooked turn off the flame.
  9. The juice of the mushrooms is separated.
  10. Remove 3/4 of the mushrooms from these and leave 1/4 of the mushrooms in the kadai..
  11. Grind the 3/4 of mushrooms with some water...
  12. Now add ground mushrooms to the kadai.
  13. Add 2 cup vegetable stock to it.
  14. Let it cook till boil.
  15. Mix cornflour in a small bowl with some water..
  16. And add it when the soup start boiling.. keep stirring.cook it for 2 to 3 Min...
  17. Now add 1/2 cream to it..
  18. Garnish the soup with the remaining cream.
