  1. add butter and chopped onion to large pot and heat until onions are soft.
  2. add all liquids/soups and stir.
  3. add broccoli, carrots, celery and stir to simmer.
  4. add rice, stir then add cheese, stir.
  5. cook covered on low for 60 min or so, until broccoli is soft.
  6. fry bacon in skillet and crumble.
  7. serve in bowl and add pepper, cheese and bacon...enjoy!.
