Cream of mushroom soup has been a favorite of mine as long as I can remember. Of course when we were growing up it was Campbell's and it came in a can. Homemade Cream of Mushroom Soup is full flavoured and so easy to make, you won't buy soup in a can again!
Ingredients of Cream of mushroom soup
- You need 2 small of onion, chopped.
- It's 6 clove of garlic, chopped finely.
- It's 2 cup of mushrooms, cut into 4 halves.
- It's 1/2 tbsp of chilli flakes.
- It's 1/2 cup of veg broth.
- It's 1/2 tsp of Mixed herbs dry.
- It's 1 tbsp of unsalted butter.
- It's 1/2 tsp of ground black pepper.
- You need 1/2 tsp of sugar.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of heavy cream.
- It's 2 cup of water.
Cream of mushroom soup step by step
- In a large pan add the ingredients and saute for 5 minutes on medium flame.
- Now add and saute for 2 minutes.
- Once the onions are cooked well add and saute for 7 minutes on medium flame until water leaves from the mushrooms.
- Now add and saute for another 5 minutes.
- Now add and bring to boil.
- Taste the soup and adjust seasonings accordingly.

- You can replace heavy cream with milk or add more cream too...
